How has this week been, you ask? HECTIC! Between the snow storm that was a bust, the event we had this past weekend and Vinny’s surprise 40th birthday party it’s just been a whirlwind of activity.
If you’ve seen me embroidering toilet paper in the store with funny sayings such as “Holy Crap! You’re 40!” And “What happens in the bathroom stays in the bathroom until you open the door” then I’m sure you’ve heard about the surprise party we were throwing this past weekend. The party was a resounding success and a wonderful time was had by all. Especially the birthday boy! While it’s true that I gave away all my rolls of embroidered toilet paper to all our friends and family, I will be making more soon. I’ve already started getting the machine set up for it. So if you’d like to order a few rolls for a birthday party or retirement party, let me know. I’d be more than happy to discuss your options.
And while all this was happening we also had Hudson Valley Farm & Flea this weekend!! First of all I want to thank Diana for covering my booth for me. As hard as I try I still cannot be at two places at once and since Diana was available and willing and so lovely, she made it possible for me to do both Farm and Flea AND Vinny’s party. Second of all, this particular event was held at the Motorcylopedia Museum in Newburgh. This Place. Is. Awesome. I was astounded at the variety of motorcycles they had and how they were all presented. It was jaw dropping. So you should consider going. Third of all, this event was fantastic. There were so many unique vendors and such a collection of talent under one roof. It was amazing. I’m still in awe of everything that was there. We did pretty good all things considered and I’m really looking forward to going to our next event. Golden Hill Elementary School in Florida, NY. Make sure to check out our events page for more information.
At this next event since it’s at an elementary school I will be focusing more on reading pillows and things like that. So you’ll see me working on more and more stuff in the coming weeks.
